I think that there were lots of April transfers around November 14th and 15th. If they stick to their 60 day target, we could see many April approvals this week .... or not.

Except that they are just approaching 6 months of waiting. I think that they're probably going to wait until they're past 6 months of waiting to start transferring them. And a transfer isn't a given. There are people from the months before August and July that have never been transferred.

After waiting for 9 months, waiting another 9 days (And we don't even know if they're going to process it within that time.) feels like an eternity. That last month and a half (give or take) was hellacious for me.

Transfers have been piled up starting July 25th.

I highly doubt that come Jan 25th, transfers would magically resume

Well, there are several possibilities for this situation. Unfortunately, we don't have enough information at this point in time to conjecture about which is the most likely.

1. They will continue transferring cases in the beginning of Feb. thus giving the service centers a bit of time to actually adjudicate the cases that they already have.

2. NBC will (haha) adjudicate more petitions either at the Overland Park facility or Lee's Summit.

3. They will continue transferring cases once late July petitioners hit 7 or 8 months of waiting, as they did with Feb/March/April/May cases. This option will blow the idea of returning to 5 months average of processing times right out of the water, as a large number of people will be waiting much longer than that. That average will only be possible to achieve if more new petitions are processed BEFORE the older ones.

4. They will continue to transfer the workload randomly as they see fit, and we will be left in the lurch with no real idea of what's going on until there's some kind of a pattern to it that we can detect. Late July filers and on will be told to wait and be patient, that they haven't waited long enough, they should stop whining, and that they'll forget all about it when it's over, and never think about it again because their spouse is there and that causes some kind of immigration-related amnesia. Possibly out of a need for self-preservation after the trauma of dealing with the USCIS for an extended length of time.

My money is on #4. :P

But seriously, we don't know what happened with the transfers last week. If they're still sending new petitions to the service centers, then the transfers should continue. I do hope that they're not just holding them at the NBC until they hit a certain length of time since application for all of your sakes. It would be very nice if the NBC were actually adjudicating cases and you all were some of the first in line. (Besides those earlier 2013 filers who haven't gotten transferred yet, either.) I believe that the fact that we just saw a case transferred from TSC back to the NBC is either a serious screw up fluke, or, possibly, a sign that they might be opening up shop. We'll have to (ugh) wait and see what the outcome is of that person's inquiries as to why they were shipped *back* to the NBC, and also if we see any other cases like that one.

Just when things look like they are becoming somewhat predictable, they pull the rug out from under you. This not unlike what happened to mid-February filers: USCIS was cruising along, and then adjudications came to screeching halt without warning. Do not wait around and hope for something to happen. Many here just waited and hoped for weeks and then months for Overland Park to have their grand opening, but that day never came. Finally, after we started making some serious noise, we got some movement.

If you have waited more than 60 days after your transfer, then you should really start making some serious noise. If you are after that transfer cutoff date, then you too should start making some noise. We all hope this is a sign that the NBC is going to start adjudicating more cases, but you must set a solid date when you're going to respond to their inaction, or else the weeks will become months. Do not allow a repeat of what happened to our fellow February and March filers. USCIS seems to have no problem with letting a particular type of case pile up.

I think we're waiting for this month's numbers to come out for our next round of letters to go out. This time, I'm going to suggest that we email them to *all* of our representatives, and possibly every email address at the USCIS that we can find. More major news outlets, all over social media, etc. Seriously, most of the people who applied for IR1/CR1 last year are still waiting for just their NOA2, and that's bullshit.

Dude you are going to get your approval in the next 9 days.

Can you calm the freak down.

NOBODY from August hasn't even been transferred yet did you know that ?????

Filers from late July who should have been transferred are waiting for no darn reason.

excuse me but I didn't get transferred until 7.5 months so I think August has a little ways to go yet..

So since you're an August filer, you can calm the freak down and wait like the April Filers had to do.

When you get to the 9 month mark without anything, I hope to see your posts about how much you want your approval too....

And I'm not a DUDE btw

Welll... have you done what Kayalara suggests ??

Have you raised a service request and referenced your MSC#, service request number and Alien Name -- in an emailed addressed to the TSC ?

We are all anxious - but I have a feeling that you should be contacting senators and congressman instead of spending your time on VJ. You are closer to approval - we are being forced to wait till we get "seniority".

Couldnt care less if it takes 9 months or 10 months.

You also falsely assume that my individual case will take 9 months - considering you nothing about your case - I doubt you know about when or how others get done.

Given the numbers should be out this week, we should start thinking about what the central focus of our next communication should be. Any thoughts? If there's no improvement in the processing times, I would guess we'd want to focus on that. I think it would be great to touch upon the disparities in efficiency between service centers, as well as the bs RFEs that Texas likes to issue. The latter would tie back into the data manipulation concerns we voiced last time, so we could make that point again for anyone who happened to be out of the office for that letter.

I don't think it makes sense to email them until May.

Come may, we send them a loud email with a bold-all-caps-subject line that reads "USCIS FAILS ITS PROMISE" - reference the May deadline and cite their messed up case control/case processing algorithm

~~~~
If not, you could pick one/many of the following:
- Approval of cases filed for a month later than the previous month
- Where the heck is vermont (?)
- Nebraska - its high volume of allocated casework and low turnaround
- Texas - same Plus the RFE issue
- The staggered approval spread between March and June
- Incomplete transfers in April, May and June (transfers waiting more than 7-8 months)
- Whatever the heck happened to overland park
- We could also "suggest" that they send one-third of cases to their local offices - 2/3rd of work stays and continues to transfer to SC and the rest gets adjudicated locally
Food for thought !
Have you spoken to an attorney ?
In the response that was sent to you from Texas via email , what did it say ?
Maybe an attorney can help.
I know most on this forum are not fans but these lawyers do usually know how to combat those cis idiots.
I cant think of anything else that would be helpful if you've tried your congressmen, senators and emails.
Perhaps an infopass ?
Before you take offense, just trying to help.
