Congratulations! Glad you had such a good experience in Charlotte. My wife and I live in Charlotte as well and were just in the office for an InfoPass appointment and had a similarly pleasant experience. Gives us optimism for the same thing when our AOS interview eventually comes around.

AOS:

October 17, 2006 I-130/485/131/765 filed

December 22, 2006 Biometrics: Thanks Charlotte office for the same-day service!

December 30, 2006 Second Biometrics appt rcd:

January 06, 2007 AP is approved!

January 10, 2007 EAD is approved

February 13, 2007 AOS Interview: Appoved with passport stamping!

February 26, 2007 Greencard received!

Removal of Conditions:

February 12, 2009 I-751 Received.

March 17, 2009 Biometrics.

July 8, 2009 Card production ordered!

NLP, I think it will be fine! As you noticed today, they are really nice and helpful. :) Funny that the same thing happened to you: undeliverable mail and an Infopass solved the problem! :) Good Omen!

Removal of conditions

9-29-2008 I-751 delivered to CSC

12-29-2008 Green Card ordered :)

Citizenship

10-15-2011 Package sent to NSC

10-17-2011 NOA Priority Date

11-25-2011 Biometrics done

11-29-2011 In line for interview scheduling... woohoo!

12-20-2011 Interview scheduled ...received letter 3 days later

01-24-2012 Interview & Oath
