December 21, 2012 - Went back in the Philippines for first anniversary.

June 17, 2013 - NOA1

November 21, 2013 - Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center

December 5, 2013 - I-130 approved via email

December 9, 2013 - receive hard copy of NOA2

receive email that case was shipped to NVC

Hello:-) we got approved dec. 9 and received NOA2 on dec 13..and that's the date our case transferred in NVC too...

call them after 1 week. So you will know immediately when they receive your case. :)

Still waiting on case to "make it to the NVC"...this is pretty frustrating.....approved on 12/7...have called the NVC twice, first time in the 14th was told ita not there yet...give them 10-14 days. Called again on 12/29..."not there yet". Perhaps with all the cases they've recently blasted through they've employed carrier pigeons at the NVC!!! I'm calling them again tomorrow. We are staged for everything. Holding I864 documents waiting for their request....holding pre-filled practice 230 & 231's waiting....gathering all documentation potentially required by NVC/Consular processing including police certificates, etc....everythings in motion....waiting for direction #1. A wee bit frustrating. Trying to plan forward is very hard now....can see the light at the end finally but its still a bit too far off to plan much further. We've started the inquiry process for shipping services of personal belongings as well as pet transport services...cant plan much further than this....

We got approved on Dec. 12,2013 and the case has been shipped to NVC on the 16th.We called the NVC Dec. 30 but the rep. said we're not on their system yet,so we called again Jan. 2 but their closed due to the inclement weather.We're gonna call them today and hopefully we get our case number and start the NVC process! Called NVC today, they do have my case (just today) so they dont have a case/NVC # for me yet...but the very nice man told me at the most it could be 10-20 days for them to get everything worked on their end. He told me he couldnt advise me on anything at this point because he wouldnt yet know what is or is not needed by the NVC until everything is accounted for in their system. I asked him if they utilize the same email notification authorization document we furnished with our petition...he said if its in the file they "should", but he wouldnt be able to guarantee that and asked me to check back just in case, otherwise they will still do the standard mail out process. So...filed on 6/25... approved at CSC on 12/7...at NVC 1/6. Not bad!!

To my fellow NOA2'ers that were approved around the same time - light at the end of the tunnel, they finally assigned our case number. We were approved Dec 4, so it should be coming any day for anyone still waiting! Good Luck! Its just little bits of waiting games at every corner!

I was never told 8 weeks, I'd think it should be quicker than that. I know once it arrives they'll tell you the wait 10-20. Has your file left your service center?

I was never told 8 weeks, I'd think it should be quicker than that. I know once it arrives they'll tell you the wait 10-20. Has your file left your service center?

It was written in our noa2 hardcopy that they sent the original visa petition to the department of state national visa center. The guy told me that. I will try to call again next week.
