We are properly registered and permitted to schedule our K1 interview. China is the location.

We had a date for back in October. My fiancee had a problem with the medical screening. She required more detailed TB screening.

The consulate would not allow an interview.

We are on the CGI Stanley Website today. It clearly shows our dashboard. It clearly says there are dates available later in December.

When we attempt to push the button to schedule an interview it walks us through the original registration screening pages. It will not allow us to the scheduling page. When we reenter all the passport, address, China Id information, the CGI website says we are already registered.

If we attempt to update our information (to see the original data inputted or in theory if we had to change the address) the fields are blank requiring us to reenter.

Anyone encountering these problems, these glitches?

How can we reschedule an appointment if it asks us to reenter previously perfect information?

After reentering it says we are already registered?

Is there a button we are missing for rescheduling appointments? Is there another webportal we do not know about for rescheduling.

We were approved for an interview in early September.

The Visa updates about cutoff dates , by the way, do not even list K1 (only family visas, student and travel) so we are ruling out this possibility.

Thanks,

and HELP.

Sorry if i post this somewhere else as well. I think this is important for folks to know about yet another CGI problem.

I will call them on Monday and pray.

if the appointment is still showing, delete the existing appointment and try again.

if none of that works, call the CGI/Stanley/USTraveldocs hotline on Monday (China Time) or Sunday(USA Time) evening, get a human, and schedule over the phone. If you can't even schedule over the phone, then 'the case' might get escalated to 'clear the bits' that are preventing the self-schedule.

You're an anomoly, something the CGI/Stanley programming team not account for in that website.

Please update your profile to show K-1 visa type, and China/Guangzhou embassy. When you have the country selected, you'll show up in the China Portal, and other China Portal folk will see your post.

Thanks Darnell,

The old appointment date is not showing as it was cancelled. No buttons exist on the website that say "reschedule" so we assume you hit the schedule interview as scheduling and rescheduling are both "scheduling" activities--thinking like a computer engineers style of web design and wording.

I will call the hotline on Monday and try to manual schedule.

We only scheduled / cancelled twice. We hear you can do this three times.

Also the second cancellation was done by the govt. when they nixed the medical screening..but is there a chance, because we never double checked the date cancellation that we were penalized. they told fiancee that the appointment she was to show for the next day gets automatically removed from the system.

Oy Vay.

Yah, worst case scenario? Email the IV Unit via their Webform Email Thingie, and ask for an appointment date, clearly stating that you are unable to self-schedule due to the prior appointments being cancelled.

But - do try the call in, first, to CGI/Stanley/ustraveldocs - I had called the Guangzhou office my Sunday night in the USA, was always able to get a human there. I had some hope that the Guangzhou office was 'better' than the rest, but HEI !
