Need a PCC from Dubai? (split topic)

Timeline

For both. Any country he has lived in for 6 months or more after turning the age of 16 he must obtain a police clearance certificate.

I also have a question

as i have worked in dubai for 17 months

so i also have to get the PCC from dubai also [ am i right ]

but once i get and till i get my case number if the validity of the PCC expire then

as i am not going back to dubai any more .

so does this will affect also on my case .

as i started doing process to get the PCC as its very hard also .

as i am in my home country now

kindly advise

whether i must start now the process or once i get the case number and all then i must start

because i do not know how much it will take to get PCC

April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

According to us embassy website. You can only get pcc from dubai if you are physically present in dubai. They won't require you if you have been out of dubai. Just present them your expired pcc if they ask

but i did not have pcc as i am already out of dubai from last 5 months

and now i am not going back to dubai also

still i have to get PCC from Dubai ????

it means i have to go to dubai and get my pcc

i do not know what to do

you dont need a pcc... you have to be physically present in dubai to obtain one...

Police Records

Available, only if applicant is physically present in the UAE.

Police certificates may be obtained by any person, regardless of nationality, by personally appearing at the Central Police Headquarters located in the emirate of residence or former residence. When appearing to request a police certificate, the applicant should provide recent photographs, a letter from the requesting authority, the date of residence in the emirate, and their passport.

Not available by mail. Post recommends that consular officers waive the general requirement to obtain police certificates unless the applicant lives in the UAE.

Non-Resident Requests:

Applicants may send applications by courier with a pre-paid airway bill to the relevant office listed below. You must submit with your application the following:

  • a set of fingerprints certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in your country of current residence;
  • a copy of your passport;
  • a copy of your former residence visa; and
  • applicable fees
