I am a March filer, case transferred and received and RFE.. After three days they received our response about RFE I checked our case status..

On December 13, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.

What's next? and how long we need to wait about the MCN? and any idea about CO SPONSOR? Our co sponsor is my mother in law.. What documents needed? TIA.

Take a breath!! Things move fast now for you. Look at Hanks patented post. All the steps are there. First thing is you'll have to wait for the magic MNL number. Start calling the national visa center, (NVC,) every day after a week or so has passed. Congrats!! Your fiance will be here soon!!

In that linked posted for NVC filers be sure to read all of Post #1 and #2.

Hopefully your petition will not take long to arrive at NVC but expect up to 8 weeks. Start calling in a week and keep calling. Do not wait for mail to you.

Read the guide on I-864. The petitioner will complete the I-864 and submit documents and so will the co-sponsor also.

NVC is a long experience about 2 to 3 months so please make sure all information is complete and correct a checklist (there RFE) can delay you months.

Congrats.how long did u received the rfe letter from the date they mailed it? I hae an rfe till now i dont have the mail.i dont know what is my rfe

We received the hardcopy (letter) after two weeks from the day it says online (case status) that we got an rfe....

Dear Friends

it is my first post on visajourney.

I was wondering if someone has similar experience on my case category and could advise me some time frame about remaining processes.

I had applied for green card under F2A category (Spouse of LPR)

two weeks ago (1st Dec 2013) I received an email from NVC about completion of my documents review at NVC and I am in the queue for scheduleing my interview at Yerevan(Armenia) embassy.

Does anybody knows how long does this process take to schedule my interview? and how many days/weeks in advance I will receive the notification?

Thanks so much for your kind help.

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
