I am going to email them the ds-230 today so when the get the case from the nvc all they would have to do is send me the interview date aswell as tell me what other paper I need to get together

what would be the fastest way to submit the documents in NVC ? I know email is just one click away but these days NVC taking too long so i am thinking sending document to there address would be much fastest way because millions of people email them and they 100% not checking email right away.

K1 process is different than spouse visa process,,, (dos ) short for department of state ' nvc operate under dos ' sometimes they will email you saying they shipped your case to dos or nvc but they both do the same thing so don't worry...and dos wait time is always under 5minutes . howcom you can tell that NVC received on that date ?? could i ask NVC representative that ?

Yes sure you can. Just ask them if they have received it yet or not, they should be able to look into their computer and tell you. Good luck!

Did you call NVC or DOS?

Called NVC.

I would recommend reading first two posts here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/468369-nvc-filers-december-2013/

It has good information and should answer most of your questions.

Most of the people giving feedback here are K-1 filers and we are Ir/Cr-1 filers, if you have any more question you should ask on the link I provided above where people with CR/IR-1 experience can help you better.

I called NVC today and they still don't have my case number yet. I asked to them to see if they atleast receive my petition but they said they cant find that because mail room is full of mails.

Keep calling them everyday, that is what I have been doing. If your petition was approved and it has been over 30 days then I would recommend calling USCIS and talk to tier-2. Ask them specifically when was your files shipped to NVC, only call if it has been 30 days or else they will just tell you to wait till then.

I already called USCIS and asked about my petition and they said that they already sent it on Nov 14. They dont hold in the office. today i saw some people who got approved on Nov 14 have the case number but not me.....

Called today. Nov 21 NOA 2 for i-130.

NVC has it as of Dec 9th but still being input. The rep was quite nice and said specifically it can take 10-20 business days from receipt to them actually having it formally entered / case number etc. I'm just happy that it is moving finally.

Next steps are $88 fee and DS-261.
