You suppose to sign it when you pick it up. You got two original copies one of them you keep for when you have your interview and also make a copy. One original you send in to NVC

We didn't have to get a new one. They told us its good for a year. My husband got his report in Januaryand we didn't send our package to NVC like in June/July and his interview was in October.

Got mine recently and at the bottom it states CERTIFICATE VALID for 9MONTHS from the date of issue,

You are given only One certificate not Two so you have to copy and keep the copy. to take to the interview.

NVC Received : 2013-12-19

Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill : 2014-01-22

It was always 2 copies, I got mine in 2010...my hubby got his in 2013 and I am not seeing any expiry date on it..however he got his immigrant visa Nov 2013 so it is more than six months ..anyway things change has time goes by...you can email Kingston to confirm...all the best
