Hello VJ, I finally got an update on my case. I filed in May, NOA1 on May 20th and as of yesterday I got a message saying that on 12/12/13 they transferred my case to the local office who now has jurisdiction over the case. Can you tell me how long it takes from here to get a decision? Or where I could find that information? Thanks! My home address is in MA, so I'm assuming it will go to Vermont?

You will probably get two more. Its not going to local office. It will go to either Nebraska, TSC or CSC. Some going to TSC in November been reporting approvals this week. A few from CSC also that were transffered. You are suppose to hear something within 60 days.

05/20/2013: I-130 delivered

05/21/2013: NOA1 Priority Date

05/24/2013: Cheque Cashed and received text with MSC number (Initial Review)

06/03/2013: Received Hardcopy NOA1

12/12/2013: Transferred to another office

12/13/2013: Transferred to local office

01/16/2014: NOA2 EMail Notice

01/29/2014: Transferred to NVC

03/16/2014: Notice from NVC

12/16/2014: Paid AOS Fee and submitted DS-261

01/05/2015: Called NVC and DS-261 was incomplete, gave information and wait for IV bill to be generated

01/06/2015: Paid IV Fee

01/16/2015: Submit DS-260 and emailed documents for both AOS and IV

02/18/2015: 2 False checklists received

02/20/2015: Received Confirmation/60 DAY EMAIL

Ok, thanks. That sounds promising. I'm not home in the States, so I don't have the actual letter. But I'm going to try calling USCIS to see if they can tell me where they transferred it.

I just called and the recorded line says it was transferred to Lee Summit Missouri! Does that sound normal?

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I had originally just looked at my case status online. I now checked my email and saw two emails from them. The first email was Dec 11, saying that as of Dec 11th, they transferred my case to another OFFICE for processing. Then on Dec 12th, I got another email saying that on the 12th, my case was sent to my LOCAL USCIS for processing. So weird. The recording when I called and entered my MSC number said it was transferred to Lee Summit. When I talked to someone he said he cant see where it was sent, that he doesn't have that info. I asked to speak with someone who CAN tell me where it was sent, so he transferred me to another dept, which I was on hold for 2 hours and 10 mins and then as luck would have it, the internet dropped and the call was lost. (I was using Skype to call because I am currently in Ghana). So yeah....I wasn't going to call back....will try again Monday. Has anyone heard of someone getting two emails back to back saying two different things? This process is making me paranoid. lol
