No I don't see you as having that sort of mentality. I just saw that on a couple occasions today if anyone said something to or about Charles they got their heads bit off. They obviously don't know what's going on...same for me. I don't know about Charles stalking anyone. I don't know fully what's going on I just didn't agree that certain members got snipped at for walking into something they didn't know about.

Believe me when I say just because I don't say anything about Charles that I'm taking sides. I've made the mistake in the past to go after ppl for things I didn't fully know about. I'm sorry if you've been stalked and that has made you feel threatened. I don't know what that feels like. I hope you don't take offense to anything I've said in regards to this situation.

I was supposed to leave around the 12th of January but it looks like the trip might be delayed til as far away as sometime in February or March.

I won't know for sure until Friday if it will be delayed, and then if it will be delayed, I won't know how long for a while yet.

I've read some of the more offensive posts in the pasts, but this is the first time I've heard of any "stalking" instances, especially within Yahoo groups. This doesn't have to do with the ME/NA e-mail list-serv that was started after the Debbie whats-her-name incident several months back, does it?

The reason more people might not have spoken up is that they might not have known what was going on. I'm only beginning to piece bits and pieces of the puzzle together now.

I thought that the anti-muslim sentiments from Charles were a thing of the past, and that he had made his peace with everyone and that he came to these forums to maybe get a different point of view about muslims and Islam. Everyone seemed to be pleasant with each other, for the most part, except when VP would come in and disagreements would occur, but I just chalked that up to vast differences of opinion (since most people seemed to disagree with VP anyway). I didn't know that other stuff was going on in the background, and I bet a lot of others didn't either.

I know how you feel. I was going to leave to go to Morocco next friday. We decided that I should wait for personal reasons, mainly I just moved and got another car. I still want to go now and then again in March for his birthday We talked to about my spending the summer there. My daughter will stay in Las Vegas with my brothers and sisters. As far as being off work all summer... who cares. I do a lot of agency work in the healthcare field so working has neva been a problem....

I hope u dont have to put it off too much longer, Melly. Doesnt the 12th seem far off as it is?
