That's probably the case, lol!

Just have Usama go through it with you to help you pronounce the words correctly. I have trouble pronouncing certain words/letters in Arabic. Mohamed and my youngest son help me with pronounciation a lot. When I try to speak Arabic to my son he'll smile then correct me. How weird is it to have a 9 yr old correct your pronounciation?

I never understood why everyone loves Charles so much either Jenn. The screenshots didn't seem to bother anyone, the racist comments don't seem to bother enough people. I don't get it.

I give up...what does that mean?

It means (roughly) "Please go right ahead and do so."

Have you learned some basic polite Arabic terms yet for your trip to Egypt ? Even a few of them (please, thank you, etc.) will be much appreciated, and they go a long way in "breaking the ice" !

I found when I even made an attempt at arabic or Morrocan, people would always help me get it right. They seemed to appreciate the mere effort. If you don't have anything to listen to, try travelang.com, then look for english to arabic. You can learn basic words, numbers, dates etc with sound files. Good luck.

I have never understood the discourse in the MENA forum. We all share a common denominator, in that we (Americans) married a foreign national, irrespective of faith. Leave the political ####### for another website, that is not related to immigration information sharing.

Clearly, this will help others that seek our guidance/experience on immigration issues. Is that possible here?

As painful as it was, yes, I did read it all. My wife is Muslim, a religion for which I hold high respect. Although I cannot convert, because I do enjoy a drink from time to time, I quit eating pork 3 years ago, among other things.

I clearly understand the Islamic faith, agreeing with some aspects of it, disagreeing with others.

I will say however, that most Islamic people are moderates, with the exception of a minority. The same case holds true with every other faith.

For those that stereotype, ignorance is clearly evident. They need to self-educate, before making an azz of themselves. See it, learn it, live it......Then talk.

You should definitely quote what it is you are referring to, because this thread is about Charles making an anti-arab anti-muslim comment yesterday and his history of stalking women in this forum.

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

OK. I appreciate your comments. (F)

But what fueled this thread into 13 pages was the behavior of one particular member -- not merely his bigotry or his politics, but rather his extremely disturbing attempts to stalk and spy on ME/NA females. He enjoys harrassing women, in particular the wives and fiancees of Muslim men, and we are tired of it.

I generally refrain from adding to debate, but in this case, I implore you all to consider that it needs to end.

To that end I say, Charles should cease and desist from further antagonistic posts to this forum. Although, some here have perpetuated the nastiness, with equally aggressive response.

Message to all: Let it go......It is not worth the damage to the newbie’s seeking guidance here. Agreed?

We are here to help others, that helped us along the journey... The Visa Journey....AKA....VJ
