Ok, I'll look into it more and talk to my family doctor, but I'm really apprehensive about taking a pill and the possible side-effects. It's just baldness, not cancer.

I think your new "do" looks good!! Gary shaves his head as well, in fact he wishes he were bald I guess in his case he just doesnt want to be bothered with doing his hair.

Btw, I used Rogaine after I had my head shaved....but it was rogaine in a pink bottle. I can't really say whether it worked well or not :/ but my hair did grow in relatively quick.

I always tell Dave I love the close shave look in some people, and you're a guy that looks good that way. Bruce Willis is an example of a guy that looks good that way too.....

You're not bald yet, why would you voluntarily make yourself bald?

There are things that can stop or slow down hair loss - maybe you should just try one of them.

Are you talking about Rogaine? I've read that it only works on baldness in the back...my hairline is receeding.

I had very fine hair when I was growing up,

and started to go bald, when I was mid 30's.

My Mum (God Rest her soul) use to say two things,

to me regarding my retreating hairline...

# 1 " You know it's hard to Grow Grass On Cement"

# 2 " You Just Grew Too Tall For Your Hair"

I have been shaving my head since I turned 35.

I am now 45 and I prefer the shaved look myself,

And my Wife Loves it too

So In My Opinion.. Baldness can be a good thing.

Always have a positive spin on everything in your lives.

That way you will always wake with a smile

Well not cold here at he Moment here In Adelaide South Australia,

We having a mini heat wave here.. 105f On Tuesday and was nice.

If I get ito a cold weather situation.. I JUST WEAR A BEANIE..

Mind you it has to be below 45f before i need to wear one.

Well Christmas Day Here was spose to be 107f but a cool change,

has come in now they expect it to be in the 70's here.

A cancer patient wouldn't have eyebrows or the beard I don't think. You don't look like that at all. I think you might be those rare gems that can pull of the shaven look. There's a woman at my work who shaves her head and she looks great with it. I could never do it though.
