why would nvc email you ?

or even postal mail you ?

yer missing some steps there, prior to that event.

Might want to chase those down, those steps, nowish.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

sorry, for this type of stuff -

is best to use a telephone.

call each day until that day becomes The Glory Day.

What's the Glory Day, you ask?

When you give over the USCIS Receipt #, an NVC TeleOperator asks for your emails (you and your wife) then gives the Consular Casefile Number and the Invoice Identification Number , all over the phone, in a telephone call.

Mail You Something? no, la.

I think it's premature to bug NVC until your wife learns from USCIS where the casefile went after approval.

Just wait. Don't streess to much. You're going to get an number regardless, if they told you to wait until the 25th just be patient. And about the email don't expect and answer right away, I sent one on tuesday and I haven't had a reply yet. You have waited more than six month, a couple of more days is not going to kill you. Be patient, this whole process takes time.
