Apologies if this is the wrong forum.

Does anyone have an idea when the Embassy will cease processing for the christmas period.

I work globally and know of many consulates that will be closed from the 19th Dec - 6th January......

Any ideas???

Our interview was originally scheduled for December 26. I received an email last week stating they were sorry they needed to reschedule our appointment due to the holidays. I would think they would be closed or working minimally. Good Luck!

They won't be shut down except on the holidays, but you can expect they will be short-staffed and thus I expect things to slow down.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

November 14th, 2013: She's here!

December 12th, 2013: Picked up marriage license.

December 14th, 2013: Wedding
