Congratulations!! Just out of curiosity, is this some kind of record for approval on a CR1? Does anyone know?

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

While I am extremely happy for you getting your NOA2, as a January 2013 filer I can't help but be a little ticked off at the system. I am still waiting for my NOA2.

Congrats, guys!

IR1/CR1 Visa - We are using a lawyer!

Embassy: Montreal, Canada

USCIS

22 Jan 2013 -- packageSent
31 Jan 2013 -- NOA1 from NBC

6 Mar 2013 -- I130 transferred to Orlando local field office (which started the whole nightmare)

Mar 2013 to October 2013 no one would tell us where our case was or what was happening. I suspected the whole time it was just sitting in a corner somewhere in the Orlando field office. I was pretty much right.

October 2013 - get congressman involved. Congressman asks USCIS repeatedly about our case but they won't even tell them anything.

31 Jan 2014- finally get NOA2!!!! (we think the nightmare is over!)

NVC

Our case was not sent from the Orlando field office as it should have been. The nightmare continues. We kept calling NVC and asking if they received our case, and they always said "NO" and that we had to wait 90 business days for it to be received. We called USCIS during this time and they kept telling us it had been sent. After the 90 days of agonizing frustration, NVC then started telling us we had to wait 120 business days. I got our congressman involved again, and they told the congressman it was sitting at the Orlando office this whole time (just as I thought it was!).

22 Apr 2014 -- NVC received
16 May 2014 -- NVC case number assigned
24 May 2014 -- AoS and IV bills paid

28 May 2014 -- Sent AoS and IV Packages

6 June 2014 -- documents scanned

18 July 2014 -- false checklist from NVC

21 July 2014 -- Case complete

28 July 2014 -- receive case complete email from NV

30 July 2014 -- interview booked! September 11 here I come!

Embassy
04 Sept 2014 -- Medical
11 Sept 2014 -- Interview - APPROVED!!!!
15 Sept 2014 -- Package arrived at Loomis location!!!

**03 Oct 2014 -- POE!! **

Just got out NOA2 in our email today!!!

We sent our I-130 application last Nov.26, they received it Nov.29. Today, Dec.12, we received an email from USCIS saying that our application was approved! Thank you, Heavenly Father! ^____^

Congratulations to you both! My wife is from Cebu and it took us just 8 months from start to finish. She is here in Hawaii with me already. She got here in July well ahead of the typhoon. Thank God her family made it thru okay. We pray for the people of the Philippines daily. Such a tragedy. As far as your quick approval: GOD has plans for you. I don't believe in coincidences. Something is in the works. God had plans for me that I never could have imagined. He is good all the time, even while we wait.

GOD BLESS

Mele Kalikimaka

Marie -

So, you were at Nebraska Service Center, and they pegged the case for fast processing due to Hurricane Haiyan. That's exceptional ! (for USCIS, that is) .

Congratulations ! Whatcha cooking, to celebrate ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

This goes to show that USCIS can adjucate petitions almost as fast as the speed of light when given an order wow.gif

I know right?? Haha. I think we all knew they "could" do it...but it is interesting to see them actually do it.

Congrats on the quick approval though!

Congrats. Hopefully you don't hear complaints from those of us waiting. I think it is great that you got approved so fast. Especially with what people from your country have had to endure this year. It's been a rough time for the Philippines.
