CEAC STATUS STUCK ON READY SINCE NOVEMBER 22!!HELP!!!

It's hard to tell what the problem may be. I suggest calling the Embassy and inquire to the whereabouts of your Visa. It's not uncommon for any length of time to happen when waiting. I have seen here where some people had their visa in 5 days after the interview with some up to 6 months or more.

Calling is the best thing to do. Good luck.

Thank you Greenbaum.I called a couple of times, actually alot and was told the same thing, it's still with a consular officer for review. I've asked if there's anything needed or if there's any problem that I need to know about, was told that they don't need anything and just have to wait.

I've sent my medical from SLEC and passport through 2GO on November 8.

We've been waiting for our status to change to Issued from Ready since November 26th and I'm seriosly going crazy. I call DOS multiple times a day and check CEAC obsessively. So I definitely feel your pain. I tried emailing the embassy as well but haven't heard anything. I feel so helpless. Oh well, I hope we both hear something soon.

Keep the faith. The wait will be worth it. You just got to believe that your visa will arrive soon. Hang in there.

No update on CEAC today. Tried to call USEM 3012000 can't get a hold of anyone. Sigh!

Are you calling for the US? If so try 703-520-2235, US number to the embassy. I tried the number you listed yesterday and gave up but got through fine on the 703.

Hopefully soon it will change, we've been waiting for awhile to go thru the system but it's been steadily moving.

Thank you DHG, I really hope it would change to Issued very soon. Edited by Mrs.S

So I called and was able to speak to someone. This was the longest conversation I had with a USEM rep, she took time to check. She said the consular officer is doing further check on the waiver that was approved November 5th but nothing, no more documents needed from me either. The last time it was reviewed was December 6th. I hope the review would be done very soon.

Trying to be optimistic, I get the visa before Christmas.
