So after I receive my noa2 on Nov8 saying case was approve and shipped to listed consulate...after calling nvc for 3weeks I realise case was still at uscis,,so after calling them December 04 they send and email half hour later,,saying on Dec 04 we shipped approve or re-affirmed case to department of state.....am just wondering when you think I will get a case number to book my interview any ideas anyone???-----been 7months almost 8 and I avnt feel any closer than the day I sent

Its been taking about 8 weeks for some to get to NVC. All you can do is keep calling.

I keep calling them .this morning they tell me about 8 freaking week when ic people be getting theirs in 1 week...I don't really mine waiting even if it take the end of the month...the problem is why is the interview date 2-3months that's just damn crazy

man, we cant do anything except waiting. my petition got approve on Nov 14 and haven't heard anything after that. Called NVC couples of times but they didn't receive the petition yet. I also called the USCIS but tier 1 gave me update whatever i already know that. I asked him to transfer my call to tier 2 but he didn't transfer and told me to wait for 30days because in the NOA2 mention that to wait for 30days before making any inquiry.

i got my case number around the 6th week. unfortunately we are under their mercy and all we can do is be patient. while you're waiting, i suggest looking up the documents needed for the interview and start gathering them.

I just found out form USCIS that my petition has been sent to NVC in november but i believe NVC hasn't put in the system yet. Any idea what step i should take to make nvc work on my petition. Ohh approval in Nov 14.
