Gotcha, that makes sense. Best of luck through the rest of the process!

Hey Errant,

Glad to hear things are back on track for you and hope things go smoothly from here.

Quick question - how did you know your appointment was scheduled for April 16th without receiving the letter? And was the agent on the phone able to reschedule you?

The reason I ask is that I never received my letter and the date passed. When I called all they could do is send a service request to the NYC office.

Thanks!

hi MnMJourney, just saw your timeline and you just sent your packet last month? you should expect to have a NOA for biometrics 3 months , say May or June? if you dont receive any letter after 3 months, then it's time to call them back.

Hey Errant,

Yeah - I received all 4 of my NOAs in March. I just didn't get my biometrics appointment. I sent a online request on 4/14 and called on 4/17. The officer said I had already missed my appt., but wouldn't tell me when it was. He put in a service request to reschedule it. In the mean time I received a mail in response to my online request last Friday. Said my appt. was on 4/11, and that I didn't show up (like I didn't know that!!!!! - it was a missed mail inquiry). Told me to set up a info pass with the NYC office. However getting one there is so difficult - need to get it two weeks out, and barely slots available.

I haven't got a response from the phone message yet. I think I'll wait till 5/2 for a reschedule, as I don't want to make an info pass two week out, which I may miss, as I'm likely to travel that week. Then only to find out that they can schedule me another few weeks out...yes, it's starting to get a bit frustrating!! If I don't hear from my call-in, will try and call in again and setup an appointment if they let me. Otherwise will have to go the infopass route.

Oh well, guess we all gotta wait.

Good lu

How is everyone doing? just an update with my adjustment of status. Finally received my Welcome Letter on the mail for approved Adjustment of Status as well as the I-130 approved petition. God is great! after all the tension and waiting, my green card is on its way. I thank all the VJ's members for helping me out on this process. My husband and I didn't even have to hire a lawyer but only read all the input here. Wishing every body best of luck on their journey…We'll keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers.
