Well, unfortunately not much news here, but we do have Amera's wedding coming up on April 22nd!!!!

Also, elizabeth&hisham have their AOS interview sometime this month, but I don't know when. Anybody have any updates on them?

We have a few AOS interviews coming up in May.

But I really hope we'll have some REUNIFICATIONS soon, they are the most important thing!

I have a question. We got an e-mail today letting us know that our RFE was received and our case is back on track. It said to expect a decision within 120 to 180 days on our AOS but that the wait would actually probably be less since the preliminary processing was complete.

What is scaring me is that the e-mail contained the following statement:

"You will receive a written decision on this case."

Is this normal? I thought we would have an interview and fingerprints first. Has anybody else had this response and if so, what did it mean in your case?

We got the same wording in our notice. I posted in the AOS forum, and no one seemed to know. I do know that if they transfer your case to CSC, they say that you will receive a written decision, meaning no interview. But they will also be specific about having transferred you to CSC.

Since no one knows, I'm hoping that it might be a new development, and we won't have any interviews either! But I have a feeling that the "written decision", may just be the interview appointment letter, or whatever paperwork comes with approval after the interview.

I guess we shall see!

I have a question. We got an e-mail today letting us know that our RFE was received and our case is back on track. It said to expect a decision within 120 to 180 days on our AOS but that the wait would actually probably be less since the preliminary processing was complete.

What is scaring me is that the e-mail contained the following statement:

"You will receive a written decision on this case."

Is this normal? I thought we would have an interview and fingerprints first. Has anybody else had this response and if so, what did it mean in your case?

I got the same exact message and approval within 2 weeks. I got the letter in the mail one week before it was updated online. Go figure.

I only wish we could have approval in two weeks, but our biometics appointment isn't even for two more weeks, and we can't get approved before that. I'll just be thrilled if we get our interview in 6 months. I have seen timelines on here for Atlanta that lasted 2 years just to get the AOS done. I guess that's good because it keeps my hopes low. Can't be too disappointed if you're not expecting much!
