Sent the package to US consulate already, but have problem????

Hi VJ member,

I got the instuction package from Ho Chi Minh US Consulate on last Wednesday, Dec 4 and then done with every papers need for the package 3. After it, I sent the packge 3 to US Consulate on Dec 6 2013

And the Vietnam post office tell me that they sent my document already and have a woman at the US Consulate's post office got it on Dec 9 . But when I sent an email to the US Consulate to make sure that they got my document yet, they tell me that they have not received the document. I don't know what is happening now? Does anyone have the same my problem before???

13 Sep 2013: Sent I-129F to USCIS

30 Sep 2013: Received receipt number (SRC- Texas service)

11 Oct 2013: Alien registration number was changed

28 Oct 2013: I-129F was approved

2 Nov 2013: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail

7 Nov 2013: USCIS sent petition to NVC

14 Nov 2013: NVC sent case number via email

18 Nov 2013: NVC sent petition to consulate in HCMC

20 Nov 2013: Case status on CEAC_ Ready, and waiting for Instruction package.

29 Nov 2013: Got the Instuction Package (Package 3).

6 Dec 2013: Sent the package 3 to U.S Consulate.

11 Dec 2013: The U.S Consulate got the package 3.

It happened to me because Embassy gave the crappy answers through emails. I called Department of State before I even emailed Embassy and DOS told me that Embassy had received package on this date. For your case, It could be that they received on December 9 but they have not put in the system.

In the meantime, you can ask your fiance to call DOS to verify what Embassy has said, then email Embassy again.

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

Could you give me the DoS phone number please? Do you know that?

I am trying to find out the reason and then sent email to the Cosulate again!

202 -485 -7600 . Press 1 then 0 to speak with visa specialist. Embassy will give your many more fault answers lol. They gave me wrong answers most of the time compared to DOS. You can check with Embassy on Friday again to see whether they have it. Good luck.
