Hello Everyone,

My dad's Interview is Next month Jan 2014.

My form 864EZ was accepted at NVC.

1. Do I need to send original form to my dad for his interview since I have sent the original to NVC?

2. Since I am married and filing jointly, Do i need to send form 864 for me and 864a for my husband? or scratch this and just send the copy of 864EZ to my dad of what was accepted at NVC?

I did not since original to my dad, I only send him copy of what I sent to NVC. Do I need to worry about sending original to him and which form since I am married filing tax jointly?

Which one is appropriate? 864EZ accepted at NVC fyi!

Thank you.

Okay, this is based on my experienced when I petitioned my Mom. My income was enough so I only submitted I-864 to NVC and it was accepted. But during my Mom's interview at the USEmbassy in Manila she was given a 221g for I-864a. I am married and filed jointly on our ITR. So, even though my income alone was enough for our household size, but because I am married, they needed the I-864a to make sure, my spouse is aware that I am bringing my mom and will be living with us. So, it's up to you.
