So, we're still waiting on the visa/passport to be delivered. It has just reached the 10 working days. We're a bit discouraged because we see that there are several people who had their interviews after ours and already picked up their packet. We've called the delivery service and they say that they haven't received anything yet. However, I (miraculously) got in contact with the embassy (an actual human being not a recording) and they said that we should check with that delivery service, saying that it should be there. Both places are blaming the other...what to do???? Hope everyone is doing better than us.

Have you checked the CEAC status search? It has to say "issued" before it would be turned over to the courier. What does yours say?

Did you get an email from the embassy saying they had released it to the courier? I got one, I'm assuming it's a standard procedure. If not I'd guess it's still at the embassy. Maybe if you get through to them again and they still insist it was turned over to the courier, ask them for the tracking number. Mine was included in the email so they should know it.

Haha. Definitely not the chosen one but called the US number for rescheduled/reviewed appointments. I explained what was going on and she tried to help as best as she could. They're very nice, it's just hard to get a hold of someone. Also...my finace never received an email saying that they had sent it out. I'm just worried that because it was a holiday week that it just got left in a stack with others that had the misfortune of getting scheduled then. I feel that something is amiss though because my fiance didn't receive his interview letter until a day or so before...if I hadn't called to find out...he would've never booked his hotel/bus ride to London.

That's crazy! I'm currently waiting for my interview. It says that they are processing readiness forms from the 7th December and before. I've been following this since it said from the 20th November and before because I submitted mine on the 26th. Medical is all done so in the last few days it's gone from processing the forms from the 1st and before, 4th and now the 7th so I'm wondering why they haven't got their finger out and processed mine from November if they have now worked through the first 7 days of December. If he didn't get his appointment letter until the day before then that's nuts! We are periodically calling the department of state to see when it's scheduled (for that very reason!) I don't want any last minute notifications lol

So you didn't actually talk to a human at the embassy in London then? It's. Alllll automated now it seems :( I did back in March but not anymore. I think they must have fired all the humans and hired robots and telephone machines with recorded messages. Can anyone confirm this?? ;)

I did talk with a human being. She was very nice and tried to help but in the end, she arrived to the conclusion that we should check with the courier service. We've called every day and every hour that there is a new arrival and they say they have not received it. My fiancé never received an email about tracking the package from the consulate. I'm just concerned because so many people seem to have it and their interview was after ours.

What was the the number you called to speak to the London embassy human?

Yeah I can imagine that it's a bit disconcerting! The only thing I'd say from this experience is, it doesn't matter who did what and when. Unfortunately it seems very random. What takes 2days for one person could take 2 weeks for someone else. I'm sorry that doesn't help, I'm feeling the same as you, only it's the interview scheduling stage for me. People submitted their stuff after me and are getting interview dates scheduled already :(

It definitely says "issued" but we called the courier service and they say that they don't have it and that it must still be at the consulate.

We had a similar issue and it turns out the Embassy had put a name that wasn't even that close to my husband's name....they had the first and last name wrong so the courier didn't realize they had it. It also had been sent to th wrong courier drop point...he finally had gotten ahold of a supervisor at the courier and they made several calls and figured it out..

I hope they find it soon! :) I know how the last few days it seems even more excruciating!

We didn't know it had the wrong name until it was delivered...

That's so crazy! Did you receive an email from the embassy saying that it was sent to the courier though? We haven't received a word from the embassy regarding the visa/passport being sent out at all. :( Also...thank you for all your help and advice!
