When will my petition be upgraded??? So sick of this.

On October 4th 2013, I called USCIS and requested to have the I-130 petition upgraded to spouse of US citizen from spouse of Green card holder.

I was given a service request number. I got a letter acknowledging my request. Since more than a month passed without getting any confirmation of my request, I called USCIS again and this time I was told to send an email directly to the Nebraska Service Center. Its been more than 2 weeks and I have not got any response from them.

I am sooo frustrated right now never mind that its been more than 6 months i submitted my petition. Any inputs please? What else should I do ?

and get a Tier 2 Human, an ISO, and start over.

USUALLY, the ISO will tell you to send out the paperwork showing USCitizenship to some address, attention some office or human.

Since you not report of that, I have to assume you either 1]not talk to an ISO or 2]had an incompetent ISO on the phone.

I did talk to the ISO when i called them after 30 days passed and she was the one who gave me the email address.

I guess i will wait for this week and then call next week. It says wait for 21 days after sending the email.

I got my oath on Aug 29 2013 and I called them on same day but they updated my case on Oct 11 2013 keep call them they will update on phone u don't need to send anything to them.

Yes you do or else everyone just claim to be a USC. They need a photocopy of the naturalization certificate to upgrade the case to CR1 or IR1 from F2A.

You need to send a letter to the USCIS that issued you the receipt notice. Make sure you include the information about your spouse,like, name,date of birth. Include a copy of your naturalization certificate and copy of your USCIS receipt notice.

You are assuming its updated. You have heard nothing. You need to verify your information dear, Why would you think a phone call will do it. Call and ask them do you fax or mail. your certificate. Cuz I know at NVC you HAVE to show proof so USCIS i would imagine same.

I am soooo pi*** today. I called USCIS and spoke to Tier 2 again. Now he says give me your Naturization certificate number and we cant upgrade until you provide one. Like I have it on me 24 hours.

Couldn't they ask me this when i called them the first time or 2 weeks back?
