Anyone in the process of doing St Lukes or just has completed I'd like your assistance...
We know there are several documents required by St Lukes bu I want to be sure of these three -- wha they are and how they are obtained.
(A) Two (2) photocopies of your Appointment Letter / Instruction Letter

(B) Visa Interview Appointment letter from the Embassy or Instruction letter from

© For applicants who registered online, 2 copies of the online registration confirmation form

Here's what I think these documents are....

ITEM C is the copy of the St Lukes appointment upon booking your appointment online -- correct?

ITEM B is obtained when you schedule your Embassy Interview appointment online, after paying the fee -- correct?

*** I did not realize that you need to show St Lukes you have an embassy appointment scheduled -- correct?

ITEM A -- I am unsure what this is. I thought the instruction letter is just general instructions. I thought its the instruction letter you can down load from the embassy site in English or Tagalog. Does USEM mail or email this to your fiancee? What exactly is this document?

Yes, I know all about the famous Philippine Visa Processing web site but I wanted to hear from other about to do this or who have just done it.

I'd rather know if we are all on the same page.

Thank you

A) SLEC wants two copies of the interview appointment confirmation letter/email. This is the email (or letter) you received confirming your interview date.

B) -same as above (don't need the instructions letter)

C) This is copies of the pre-registration form that was completed online at the SLEC website.

A - don't hold your breath for anything that is sent through PhilPost. Instructions letter is online anyway.

Yeah the Instruction letter (more of a formality letter with no real instructions other than go to a website) is from the US embassy. I received mine through Air21 which is a private courier I believe 3 weeks after approval.

St. Lukes just wants a paper that shows your case number, if you don't have your instruction letter yet, you can use the letter from the NVC or a screenshot of your petition status.

Also, if you want to go to St. Lukes at 4 in the morning, it's better to NOT use the online registration. You can just fill out the registration form while waiting for the windows to open. There is a separate line/number for online and not online. When I went there, there were a lot of people with online registration and a few not online so the not online were able to finish the 1st step faster.

I have my interview appointment confirmation letter in front of me. I don't see my case number on it. Will this be good enough to take to St. Luke's for the medical? Or do I need to request NVC to email me the case number?

I only got my case number over the phone. I don't have any written communication yet from NVC or the USEM which specifies the case number.

Yes, that is good enough. that's exactly what I had too, just the appointment confirmation email. when SLEC asked me how I got my MNL, I told them I called NVC and got it from them. SLEC person just nodded and said "Ok, no problem".

Thank you for this. I still have some time to go before the interview, but knowing all these details helps a bit.
