Must we go round this again? It's so tiring. One more time, for old times' sake....I don't care who does what with whomever they want to do what with. I personally find large age gap relationships freaky. Why in hell does that have anything to do with racism or ageism? I am not persecuting you. You are free to do as you choose. I do not hold prejudice against OLDER PEOPLE (again, already discussed), which is ageism, it's the relationship I find freaky.

If you don't care, peezy, why comment on it at all? Why attack my post? You obviously care or you wouldn't be here with an opinion and defending it.

I am free to do and say as I choose, but one thing I understand is that if I post, I shouldn't be disturbed if someone responds. I didn't respond to you; you responded to me, and i replied. My view that if one substitutes race for age, one's views would be perceived as more hateful is a valid one. Your prejudice against age difference relationships doesn't affect me, but apparently my demonstration that comments here are hateful affected you. That you don't see negative comments about age difference relationships as ageism is a cover, but that's your choice, and you are free to choose it. However, that binds no one else to see it the way you do, and I don't.

No generalizations are being made about the older or younger parties based on their age - the issue is grappling with when the immoral becomes moral. For some it coincides with when it becomes legal, but not for all of us.

Morality hasn't been the gist of the discussion; generalizations based on age difference, not morality, have dominated the posts so far. Besides, the topic is LARGE age differences. Six years may not qualify as large.
