I guess that's why they call this forum off topic... Can't stay ON topic. Oh well. I'll try to help you out Gary. I am 10 yrs older than my fiance. I did not know his age until we were well into the relationship. Never gave it a thought as being important. I freaked out a little myself initially but got over it quickly. My friends and family haven't really said anything. My parents have a 15 yr age diff and have been married for 44 years, so it can't be all bad!!

Gary, you've been on this site long enough to know that off topic will go all over the place. I can't imagine why you think you have the right on a public forum to dictate 26 pages of other people's responses. All in all, it's been pretty ON topic for the most part; something that doesn't happen often at that page level.

If all you wanted were canned comments to your 3 all important questions (which, by the way, several people have answered and you barely replied to them to further the discussion yourself), post a poll.

Either that or resign yourself to the reality of message boards and the fact that you can't control all aspects of one unless you own it and regulate the membership yourself.

I think there have been some useful comments here. For myself, I resolved the issue long ago, but it's still an interesting subject and I'm still curious what others have done about this, if anything.

are you guys are happy with your relastionship to your girlfriend / spouse ???? if no, then that is a big issue and a big problem that needed to discuss and must be solve....
