The I-130 is months long process and it has been difficult to stay away from our loved ones. So I just want to wish ALL petitioners good luck. I hope we are all reunited with our loved ones soon.

Thank you! We just received our NOA1 today (about 10 days after I sent it) and it is currently being processed at Vermont. Hoping for a transfer or quick action. He is Canadian and I am a US citizen. I just read another post of a filer who got approved today in just 13 days! I believe they filed for an expedite, but still goes to show, it is physically possible!

I remember seeing that post too and it is not surprising to me bc they are expediting all Philippines petitioners due to typhoon so basically they are getting priority. Which I don't mind at all since they are going though tough time. But I hope we all get approval soon. Happy holidays :-)

If they deserve expedite processing, then others also deserve an acceptable time frame. A max of maybe 3 months. 9 month to a year is unacceptable and grave injustice.

I hear you and I wish they would hurry up. But I would still say that if they can at least help those in trouble (typhoon in Philippines) I don't mind.
