Hello, I received my hard copy of my NOA2. It states that "The NVC will contact the person for whom you are petitioning (beneficiary) concerning further immigrant visa processing steps."

What will they be sending him and not me?? Shouldnt I start getting my affavidit of support information together ? and I can start calling the NVC starting a week from now right?? Please guide me! I sure do appreciate all the feed back.

What got approved the I-130 or I-129F. You haven't filed for a K3 yet thats the Visa. If we know what got approved we can better direct you what you need to do.

So your I-130 got approved. No K3 you will be getting you are on the CR1/IR1 path.

Go to the NVC filers thread read post #1 and #2. In about 1 week start calling NVC once you have case# they will ask for both your emails that's how NVC communicates with you no snail mail both of you get notified of everything.

Sorry, Both the I-130 and I-129f both got approved at the same time and were transferred to the NVC. I hope that cleared it up lol I'm sorry DWheels but thanks for answering.

Okay more than likely they will administratively close the I-129F and you will continue with IR1/CR1. So read the link I posted to find out all you need to do at NVC its alot. And alot has changed in the last 3 months. Read and understand carefully many have been getting errors and check listed you don't want that. Its about 3 to 5 months here at NVC. Than another 2 months wait to interview.

Hey i am holding on to hope somehow that I-129F gets by to embassy. That way when you call for case# they will either say I-129F was sent or it was closed. Or they will allow you to decide. So fingers crossed and prayers going up.

I really want to see a K3 in action. So why not you. ;)
