What to do about 2006 Tax info for January interview

After being on hold for 35 minutes I finally got through. geeez. Anyway, they said that my fiance's interview has been rescheduled for January 25th. I explained to her that he has a medical issue he is dealing with and we're not sure if he'll be able to do that interview either, and asked if we could reschedule again if necessary. She said that would be ok but that he'd be put on the bottom of the list and it would be two or three months after January. I told her that would be fine if that happens. We just have to take it a day at a time right now. I am hoping she knows what she's talking about. sigh. I don't want to have to call again ask someone b/c I have to take time out of work to do that. I don't know if I should just go with what she said or maybe I should try to email Montreal to double check. Anyone have any advice?

Also, if he insists on going to the January interview, what do my co-sponsor and I do about proving our income for 2006? No way are we going to have tax returns or even W-2's.

From what I've read, previous year's tax returns as well as recent pay stubs, bank statements and letter from his employer (stating position, start date, gross salary, etc.) should be okay.

Did you get the NOA2 extended to accomodate the change of interview date?

I thought the NOA2 was only valid for 4 months? I've seen others extend it because of long interview waits... I think Jerseygirl was one of them. I'm not sure how.

If I recall from reading here somewhere, the consulate automatically renews it. Sorry, I hope I didn't make you panic!
