Didn't know this!

But don't most Muslims prefer there not be any such depiction of Muhammad, even in a positive context?

Speaking of what's on the wall, keep this guy out of the Supreme Court. It has a carving depicting Muhammad as one of the great lawgivers above where the Justices hear cases.

Sad to say but he only voiced the opinion of a lot of ignorant people. One other sad thing is that VA has a high concentration of Muslims that he evidently had no qualms in considering a part of his constituency. His remarks are proof positive that some people believe that Islam is evil and that it will eventually take over the country.

Most people don't know it's there because the courtroom isn't a public place. I had an uncle who worked for Chief Justice Earl Warren. He had the run of the building, and took me on several tours there, so I've seen it myself.

I don't know what most Muslims think about depictions of Muhammad, but there are lots of them, especially in Shia tradition.
