NVC Case number says ready for 9 days

129F was approved and sent to NVC. Then I received my new case number from NVC starts with three letters. On ceas.state.gov I entered my new case number given to me by NVC. It says ready and the following:

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html

its been 9 days after the case update and says ready i don't know what to do now any advice i didn't get anything from the NVC nothing

I'm not sure if it is the same for your embassy but for the UK, once you get your I-129F approved and your case no. You will then have to wait for instruction on the correct forms to fill out etc. (ours are online now)

Part of these forms is a readiness form for when you book your interview. So although it says your ready, I would say that it's not ready for interview yet.

I got that message on the 12 November. It is still the same now. Even though I had my medical on the 29th November. The status date updated to the 5th December and then the 6th December. But the message stayed the same.

I know that they are currently scheduling my interview as I sent the readiness form.

I would say sit tight for a bit as you should get instruction on what your embassy next requires you to do before they schedule an interview.

If in doubt, get your fiancée to call the department of state. But I'd wait a bit first.

By the way, my petition was approved back in December so it could still be a while. You have your case number though so that's good news. I had to wait all that time for that as well as the instruction on what forms to fill out.

Better to ask VJers that their beneficiaries are from Morocco. Mine was ready on November 8th and still no packet 3 yet. Each consulate has a different rules. If you already have your case number, go to CEAC and fill out DS 160 form. That's NVC stating on the letter that sent to your fiance.

If you have already your case number from NVC,its time for you to gather all the documents.Pay the visa,get medical exam,fill up the DS-160 and set an appointment interview online.
