This step is hella confusing, it says the person immigrating do I have to collect this stuff and send with the finacials or is this stuff my husband takes to his interveiw NVC step 6 ??? seriously when i read the instructions in this sight I always get confused ?????? http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Supporting_documents.html

You guys will not get transferred cause your files are going/went to the service centers directly from the Lockbox. So it's Lockbox-> Service Center That's the way it used to be up until August 2

This step 5 is about the beneficiary, your husband needs to collect the docs and mail it you so you can send it along with AOS in one package (aos/step4/ + IV /step5/ ).

So we have just had a phone conversation with our lawyer and we got some answers. After filing two service requests, our lawyer was notified on the 23rd Sept that we are undergoing additional security checks and that we cannot be notified when these will be undertaken.

Does anyone else have an insight into how long these take?

I was approved for an ESTA and am due to fly out on 8th October, but I am so nervous about it all. Gonna focus on positive energy and hope that everything will work out fine.

I am going on 9 mos.. and still no response..

This is getting depressing.. I see others getting approved and they filed later than myself..

Hopefully some good news will come soon!

I send my i130 and i485 on 23 of September 2014 to Chicago but no response yet please how long will i wait.thanks in advance

about 6 months....find the sept 2014 I 130 filers thread and this will help you find/make friends with the same pd and noa1 as you.
