You guys will not get transferred cause your files are going/went to the service centers directly from the Lockbox. So it's Lockbox-> Service Center That's the way it used to be up until August 2

They did not give any case status info.Just ask to wait for 29 September. Hope you will hear something. If you did not any thing came again on 29 September.

I have two 1-130 petitons, one for my husband the other for my stepson that was approve back in June; therefore I awaiting my husband's petition to be approve. sorry for the confusion that actually the noa2 date for my stepson petition.

What??? A RFE after 9 months?? Oh Lord ...

One would think they'd check for missing documents BEFORE sending you thru endless security checks.

Guys!!!!!!!!

I just got a RFE. am telling you that sounds like angel to my ear right now. I rather deal with an RFE instead of security check it say allow 14 days......

This sucks. Hang in there, just wait for the letter from them. Hope it is something simple. Just provide them what they want. I have seen approval within a week after rfe response is received.

You will be ok. :)

Sorry to hear this. You went to albany,ny . your case is at Nebraska center! I thought filers from ny also go to Vermont

I know!!!!but it sounds better than security check. I could at least give them whatever it is they want, but with security check I felt stuck, but you would think they would have done that before now it makes me wonder how in the heck do they process these petitions.

Guys just to let you all know the email I received was fron Nebraska Service Center. It was a reply that Scopsscata did on my behalf when I contacted them. Scopsscata sent NSC a emailed and cc me on the email. The response from NSC that I received also advise that my husband is now out of security check and they cc Scopsscata on my email as well. So I will just wait to see what they are asking for I hope it is something so simple. So please please please anyone waiting contact Scopsscata if your not getting a response.

Well my case was assigned to an office on 6/23 but still no approval as of today. Previous SR in August states that background check hasnt cleared. I filed another SR a week ago and still waiting for an answer. I've gotten a respond from Scoppscata to reply back with SR confirmation number if the SR didnt help. I'm waiting for a respond from the last SR before replying to Scoppscata.

My status was updated to another change of address on 9/12 (for the 2nd time!) so I'm guessing somebody touched my case?
