hey axs, see you went for an info pass appt.

my hubby went yesterday. sorry to hear yours didn't go very well. guess ours didn't either and we still have no decision (so much for rep's last words). i don't recall you posting about yours (i've been following this thread for some time now to give me inspiration that uscis is working).

this is how my hubby says the convo went.... "they started working on our case june 11 but was held up 2 months to investigate "derogatory information on you" which has now been resolved. rep couldn't elaborate so we need to put in a request for more information under the freedom of information act. rep was surprised to see our petition went to texas in the first place (and could not elaborate on why texas and not california). rep said our application should be on track now"

with each question my husband asked that rep could not answer, the rep left the room and came back with the information. although i didn't ask my husband, my guess is the room was a conference/questioning room (as he was asked to turn off his cellphone) and did not have a computer. talk about fort knox! which i guess is good when your working with criminals, but neither of us are!!!

2 months to investigate me!!! someone with a clean record!!! gosh, i'm a catholic elementary school teacher who works in the very tight private system with annual declarations!!!!

i found all this interesting along with why no answers could explain why our case landed in texas in the first place or why it was just transferred to mesquite's local office, and why after 2 attempts we could still not put in a service request. why this all remains a mystery is amazing!!!

i stay optimistic for all of us.....one day we will be in the clear and get the message "approved".

guess the final take away message is: uscis takes their job of keeping america safe seriously and we are honoured.

;)

have her move to one of those listed in the above....for sure she'll be home with you quickly!!!

argh!!!!

Sorry to hear, those info pass reps never have any information. But you were lucky enough that they told you that they investigated on you for 2 months because of some derogatory information. For me that lady didn't even bother to answer any of question. She just said its in additional review and no more information which we already knew.

But anyhow good luck with your case. this is now killing, its almost 9 months.:(

I am praying that we all hear good news soon. It is so hard to stay positive.

I just can't believe they are doing this to us. It is so heartbreaking to have my family torn apart like this. Thanks to USCIS I have to be a single mother to three kids.

First, who created that?

Second, not all the users/filers ate Visajourney have updated their timeline, so we are not sure if they got approved or not.

By the way, my friend Nimitha is not on that list. she's NSC filer!! What about those who are still waiting here?

Hey California Luv,

Everyone did that , even US i-129F filers did that...and January Filers are still waiting for their security checks at the TSC..now they skipped them and started approving those February filers and March filers...But you're right...I'm a December filer...and I just got approved on JULY 24TH...so I understand how all of you are feeling..

axs is not mad, it's just the way axs is :D

it was my worst fear, to be stuck while the rest would be on their way. who would have thought that so many december filers would have to go through this? had we filed in march or april we'd be at nvc already ... it's hard to remain positive.

my wife and i are running out of answers to the kids asking daily (hourly!) "when are we going to americaaaaa?" ... my youngest son has started to bite his nails (he's almost 5) and when we asked him why he said because he's sad we are not going anywhere. this plus other signs of anxiety from him makes us even more angry at this whole process. ......sorry i needed to vent a little .....

Dec fillers are not in very good mood no doubt but we are not gonna fight with every other person :dancing: relaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well maybe you should read of what i wrote to Mrs. California Luv instead... Honey,I've done that..and I did my research as well..BTW i posted on this forum months ago but no one replied...so as you may see I'm not here recently..I've been on her for quite some time. and as I mentioned to CL..I did that, even with us December I-129F filers! You're actually the one getting frustrated about me not liking or agreeing to your Little list.

and FYI: I'm a DECEMBER filer aswell..maybe the one who needs to do some research is you.
