Dec 2013 I-130 filers

Hey guys, hoping this week will bring us some approvals. Mucho positive vibes to all of us!!!

Looking at the spreadsheet roughly only half of us have been approved but NSC is already working on Jan 2014.

I think we all go through this rather depressed. I have my days too (who doesn't???), with all this uncertainty.

However, as much as I have needed to vent I prefer to display only my positive side as I think it will help others better than letting the frustration and anger out.

Here's how I try to approach this.

The negative emotions will happen. No matter how much you try to stay optimistic. When that ripple starts to form in the horizon, before it grows into a monster wave and it reaches me I have decided that I could either:

1. Do nothing. Let it take me down the sea bottom, crush the hell out of me underwater, shake me like a little crab and come out hurt for days.

OR .....

2. Ride the wave dammit! Get up on the surfboard and let this wave of darkness pass under me while I surf it away. Oh the sunlight, the wind and the sea spray are all mine.

While we prepare to leave our respective countries for a long time and our lives to change in a radical way, let's enjoy the little things that have made this stage of our existences before they vanish.

#2 requires a litlle bit of deep abdominal breathing and meditation several times a day but it helps so much to relieve the anxiety.

Hello Fellow Dec 2013 Filers...I too am waiting in the same boat. my PD date is Dec 26, 2013 and still have not heard back from the TSC. I hope all of us get our approvals this week!

I'd like to mention that I sent an e-request last week on 07/9/2014 and I contacted my congressman Friday,11. I know that none of the above contributed

to my approval, or did they? I don't know. I guess I will never know.

Congratulations Pease1234, and thnx for clarifying. But as a matter of fact i filed e-request got response but still waiting. So USCIS is a mystery.
