my question is

do i have to enclose COVER LETTER

it will be nice to have a cover letter stating what the RFE is for and what supporting documents you are attaching for the RFE.

this people working at uscis can lie, my hubby called them now they said they re working on dec 3,while almost all 5,11,13,16,and even 23 dec re approved.dont really understand them so annoying

Just got off the phone with tier 2 and how discouraging that was, the agent I spoke with in tier 1 said oh you should know something by now and sent me to tier 2 after a hour long hold, an agent informed me that yes the website says 5 /6 month processing times but he is not seeing any less than 8/9 month processing times unless there is special circumstances I called b/s and said sir there are many people getting approvals and why would uscis mislead the applicants by stating 5 month processing times. ughhhhh at this point it is better to be suprised by mail I will let my congress person know my experience and not much else I can do but wait he said specifically it was for security checks I told him I just finished the fiance visa application process to be denied shouldn't they have my security checks readily available insha Allah his alleged 8/9 month processing time turns into 6 at this point.

They r not working as First come and First serve... People are getting Approval from all others months too.

So...my husband called USCIS again today...the person he spoke with said that within 23 days we'll receive our answer. He didn't ask any further question, so we wonder why this person said that ( based on what? What does she know about our case that we don't?! Really annoying and confusing). another mysterious random behavior from uscis. Our alien number was signed on Feb 4th, and yet nothing changed.

No doubt, we called several time USCIS, every time different response. my PD is Dec 4, 2013. They even said same to me. working on dec 3.

When tried to tell them other cases which are getting approved ahead of us, then their answer was like every case is different. They lied to us so many times. Every Agent gives some how different view.

On first call they Tier 1 and Tier 2 said we are out of normal processing time, we can file e request but also gave us advice not to file as it will delay almost 6 days.

And last time when i said to them please file my Service Request, and their answer was, You can not file Service Request as you are within Processing Time limits.

I said what if i file Online. and they said you wont be able to.

And after 1 day filed online and computer accepted it.

What i believe all these Customer Service, E Request, Info passes, Congress man involvement is just there to buy time for USCIS so that they can do whatever they want to ...we are just helpless...

My petition is at Texas and we replied to the RFE last week. I was thinking of calling to confirm if the packet was recived or not.

Which number should I call on? and do they send a notice of recieving the RFE or update the online status to RFE revview?

I am sorry to hear that Dec fillers are still waiting. I got mine in 5.5 months and not 8/9 month, I suppose it get delayed if the security check takes time.

yesterday 6/25/14 i got two emails no text that 2 petitions were approved at VSC. i filed one on 12/2/2013 and the other on 3/7/2014
