Don't make the mistake we did, we submitted original copy of certificate and rfe says we never submitted any certificate. Plus your rfe hard copy will say in the last paragraph " if you submit any original, it may not be returned to you " .you can always get notarized copy which can work as an original. I would really suggest you to wait until you receive rfe hard copy.it will say everything what you need to do.

We both got messed up by rfe.

My pd is also 12/24. I also got request for initial evidence .

how long i will have to wait till i will recieve the hard copy ?

They mailed hardcopy to us on june 10 Tuesday ( today is also tuesday )from Vermont, we received it on june 13 Friday in Pennsylvania. So you can expect something on Friday / next week starting

RFE RFE every where. im still stuck with reissue of my birth certificate.i dont know when im gonna get it and send them ..they want recently issued BC...

We will reply in this week. We are going to submit notarized true copy of the marriage certificate. So not the original, but still an official copy.

Rfe says if you submit original document , it may not be returned to you. So we can't take a chance. plus i think people there are already lil bit careless that they misplaced the official copy we submitted first time.

Lol when i got rfe notification, my nights were sleepless until i received hard copy of it. Even in dreams i watched random rfes. When i was on my student visa, i faced the worst rfe too. So, try your best to resolve it .

Oh , i forgot to mention , for everyone who got rfe or face any problems in future,there is a website called avvo.com

Ask your question there too,lawyers will guide you for free. It will help to know the direction.

I have seen a couple of dec 23 approvals recently , your NOA2 is coming soon. I'm rooting for you! I think it sucks that we have to wait when they appear to have gone back to expediting overseas filers.

There is no rhyme and no reason in the order they seem to go through applications.

By checking random numbers today a bunch of i-130s were approved, around 5000 numbers below mine (I have too much time on my hands okay?)

But still, some folks from early Dec like our own nanana are still waiting. What gives?????

nothing to do but be patient, and twiddle our thumbs. My husband is going back to the US to establish domicile, and i am left with the three kids . I am hoping we get our NOA2 before we separate for god knows how long.

OUR I-130 GOT APPROVED!!! We just came back from a 3 week California vacation and got the email the night we got back to Sweden!!! Our NOA1 was December 16 and NOA2 June 16...so it was exactly 6 months! Can't wait for the hard copy to come so we can continue with the process!!! Here's hoping for lots of approvals for everyone here!

in my box of 200 cases around my case "only" 25 left with case status that still says Initial Review.. ( I should say among 100 cases because the other 100 of numbers are not I130) .. so I am not the only one with my PD that is still waiting..
