Dec 2013 I-130 filers

So I tried calling NVC at 8:15 PST (11:15 EST) and it said the NVC was closed... Shouldn't it be open until midnight EST? Why??? Do they shut the phones down that early sometimes?

I just want to make sure I'm not crazy! I do know my time zones, right?

What did they ask for? It can be helpful for anyone that gets RFE..,who knows maybe they gave RFE's to everyone just to get back on their "normal processing time of 5mos" Im still waiting for NOA2 & I cant do a service request online. ?

In my case I received two, one for my wife and one for my daughter. For my wife they asked for a full english translation of our marriage certificate and for my daughter the same plus my daughter's birth certificate with full english translation (word for word) instead of an official extract as I submited them. So I guess is not too difficult and very simple to get. I will get this together and mail them as soon as possible. I hope this helps to fellow filers! :-)

I received great news last night...

Congrats !

First time post here. Today I received this update;

On June 12, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

PD is 12/23/13. Does anyone know why it was sent to a local office? Does this mean an interview? We have both been married before, and granted our situation is slightly complicated (no need to go into that here), just kind of wondering what this means, since workload transfers ended last year?

maybe all lines were busy so they closed them for new calls ? after 11? who knows how they really work

I am torn between positive emotions and negative ones: Is it an approval coming to us or some bad news which will delay our process?!

This procedure is a war of nerves! What a torture! It's killing me...being apart of your soulmate is already hard enough to add this on the top!

Thank God I am cheered up by my visit to Hubbie D-21

I wish we all hear some good news soooon...very soon! (FINGERS CROSSED) Hang in there!

I'd say a letter explaining exactly this and the reason why (I guess that's how it is in Bengladesh). Hope someone who's been down that road can chime in.

Reply to them, explain and send copies of passport+ school+ other govt documents as evidence to support it.. also ask them what you should do in such a case.. then wait and see.. hope they accept.

Hi everybody, I also received the good news just now! PD december 17. I am so happy...

We did fill I-129F in february, just in case. Alien number changed right after they received I-129F, on february 5th, but nothing after that...until today!!

I hope all of you will be approved very soon!
