You guys will not get transferred cause your files are going/went to the service centers directly from the Lockbox. So it's Lockbox-> Service Center That's the way it used to be up until August 2

Still waiting for case number.Today 35 days at NVC

It should be assigned soon. NVC is running very slowly. Remember it is not personal. We also waited a ridiculous amount of time for our case number; we are currently waiting for our case to be reviewed and it is just as lengthy and at times exasperating.

I hope some NVC personnel are working from home today (wishful thinking).

me too, but nothing can be as grueling as the uscis process!!! right???? chin up boy...its coming!

It should be assigned soon. NVC is running very slowly. Remember it is not personal. We also waited a ridiculous amount of time for our case number; we are currently waiting for our case to be reviewed and it is just as lengthy and at times exasperating.

I hope some NVC personnel are working from home today (wishful thinking).

good to know! and I wish the same....in fact, I wish they operated 24-7, now wouldn't that be nice :idea::idea::idea:

you are luckier than I.

My NOA2 date was Dec 3 and NVC received it Dec 30....you somehow passed me....and that's good cuz you've been waiting longer!!!

But, you gotta wait 42 business days for a case number. its crazy!!!!

I pulled my hair out with the mess we ran into at uscis and vowed I'd never let something that I cannot control get to me so much. So, I'm sitting back and doing the time....not happy about but my health is far more important that the worry and stress.

Being optimistic that this process is STILL faster than the last. :)

01/06/2014 - Day 8 - NOA1 Received via Text Message.

01/13/2014 - Day 15 - NOA1 Hard Copy arrived in Mail (PD: 12/31/2013).

you should be hearing any time now....i believe i read some posts in the past days where those who's case arrived at nvc in the late teens of december got case numbers...hang on, its just days away for you....but should you not hear, call 'em and don't forget they were closed a bit from that 'massive' nor-eastern storm last week.

Yes i call them and they ask to wait 42 days :( .Feb 06 will be 42 days .Lets see what happend

not for me but I see that some with nvc case arrival dates dec 22-24 range have received case numbers.

yours should be ready...id call to check!
