Although USCIS makes every effort to resolve such cases promptly, USCIS is unable to speculate when the background check process will be completed in your case.

If you have not received a USCIS decision or other notice of action regarding your case within approximately 90 days from the date of this E-mail message, you may send us another inquiry regarding the adjudication of your Form I-130.

Did you ever wrote to Scopsscota or Ombudsman, have you got any response from them?

Yes i wrote but got same response. Another week passed and still no progress.

Is there any other option to get info of my case?

This is way beyond fair treatment.

Maybe call them again? and again? and again ? ask for tier 2 and demand more info than just old record style " background check" ?

Have they ever told you anything more than that?

We contacted our congressman weeks ago,still no news from that..last week, we called uscis talked to tier2 ,she said our background checks are going on and she does have no information about the case and she will pray for us..

I am about to lose hopes..its been almost a year since noa2

faisal, by all means contact their office again. make sure this is your correct rep for your district (we made that mistake). don't give up.
