Just checked and still nothing. I am racking my brains trying to think about why we have not been approved. This has been a tough year and I feel like giving up

Don't give up DandF! Have you contacted your congressman office?

did you try to contact your congressman, senators ? did you write to scopsscata ? ombudsman ?maybe go for infopass ?

Every time I see a new post in this thread I am opening it with a hope to see your approvals. don't give up folks!

I wrote to NSCFollowup and then after 23 days wrote to scopsscata. Within 7 days my case was approved. It took 9 months and 1 week.

I personally believe Senators, e-requests, customer service or info pass are just waste of time. If your case is stuck write to scopsscata but first write to NSCFollowup to make ground.

Basically security checks delays the case considerably, mine was also in security checks as told by customer service. So if your case is genuinely with agencies for checks then no one can do anything, you have to wait. But who knows, ring all the bells.

Not axs but I've been there too. We just wrote simply that we felt that we were outside the normal processing time and that we'd appreciate their help in getting this case to receive a decision asap . Nothing fancy, nothing too long, short but to the point. Good luck to you.

You can try following lines but try to be YOURSELF, present your case...include all particulars related to your case...

I am writing this to inquire about the status of my I130 petition (#LIN*********) dated Dec 12, 2013. I have not heard anything from you after filling the petition other than receipt (Notice of Action 1).

I would like to ask whey it is taking so much time? When calling the phone numbers we are provided for assistance during this process we get NO understanding and certainly very inconsistent answers, if any.

USCIS states that spouses of US Citizens do not need to wait in line for a visa to become available and that family unity is a priority. But i feel we are not being treated as law abiding tax paying citizens. We are being treated as if we do not matter, or even exist.

I am put through stress and depression and as a result poor mental and physical health. Please let me know why i am not getting approval of my petition and if my case is on processing hold then what are the reasons behind it.

So I sent an e-mail NSCFollowup, I got this automatic email, I don’t really understanding what this mean, if someone can explain to me that would be great. Thank you!
