On July 3, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.THANK GOD

They just asked for photographs and marriage certificate English translation.

Can i send any additional documents along with requested information?

I was going to respond to RFE today. I got the RFE notice hard copy on June 21 .

But now i check the status a strange thing happen.My status changed from Request for additional evidence to acceptance.

Can any one help in this situation.

On July 2, 2014, a duplicate notice was mailed to you regarding a decision on this case, or describing how we will process the case if it is still pending. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. If this I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN is still pending, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move and this case is still pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I called NVC today and they told me they received our case July 1, and that it will take 30 business day to get a case number

Is that usually so long? Or should I call every day or so in case my case number is available before?

I am thinking to all of you who are still waiting for NOA2... this is so stressful and frustrating.

They received my i129f on July 1st, but said nothing about my i130 petition. I asked if they would be proceeding with the i129f and she said that they usually would process the approved i130 and not the i129f. K3 is useless I guess.

I did not receive a case number either. She said that IT IS TAKING THEM 2 MONTHS TO ATTEND TO THE I13O's. She told me that they were going to get in touch with me. Confusing because I thought I had to CALL THEM to get a case #. I never expected that to be said, but she called out my email address. I don't know if I should call daily or wait on them. I guess I will estimate the time that they should be contacting me. Very stressful...I agree.

My NOA2 date was May 29, shipped from Texas Service Center on June 4, received by NVC on June 13, case # assigned on July 1. The first 2 weeks I just called once per week on Friday because my case was received on a Friday. The third week I planned on calling twice, Tuesday and Friday and on Tuesday they had assigned a case number! From the other timelines it seems like this time frame is typical. I know some have been assigned sooner and some much longer so you can call as much as you want, but because the whole process of calling usually takes an hour, I decided not to make myself crazy by calling too much.
