Hi everyone!!

We sent in our I-130 on Dec. 20 and it was delivered by usps on Dec 24. On Dec.29 we received e-notification with receipt number and it was available online about a week after that indicating Initial Review. On Jan.3 we received NOA1 with a Dec.26 priority date and we got the Nebraska service center. I am the USC living in New York and my wife is Russian living in Russia. Not only the distance but also the time difference is very difficult to endure, hopefully processing will speed up and we can all get approvals soon! Good luck everybody!!

I hate to tell you, but that's probably not going to happen. I hope that I'm wrong and that they process you quickly because you are overseas. But you're in Saudi Arabia, and that means that you're probably going to have to go through AP even after you're done dealing with the USCIS. That can take a ridiculous amount of time.

You and the kids will have no problem. But your spouses will probably have to wait there for the visa process to be completed.

Thank you Kaylara for the advice. I am actually from England and my husband is the USC, I don't know if that will make any difference but i hope it does. We have to leave Saudi Arabia between May-July, whether the visa comes through or not. I am a little concerned if at that time we are still in the midst of the process and I go back home to England, how difficult will it be to switch the consulate at which the interview will take place?

My husband just called USCIS today to correct our address on file and he was told that our petition is approved and that they sent it out yesterday but it's most likely going to the wrong house :(

What can we do about it? We haven't received an email notification about it yet and we haven't received any hard copy of anything but the USCIS site says that the petition is approved. A whole new round of stress begins but thank God my baby and I can possibly leave the country before the next rainy season.
