My fiancé was admitted on k1. She kept her maiden name on the marriage license. Now we are ready to apply for AOS, but with her new last name. Is it too late or can still be done? Her passport from her home country is offcourse in her maiden name. I plan to apply for SSN in her new last name.

Any help will be deeply appreciated!

She can use her new married name from the moment she gets married. The marriage certificate is proof that she changed her name. It doesn't matter if her new married name doesn't appear on the marriage certificate.
