Hello, yesterday I helped my fiancee to fill out the DS-160 online. When she was filling it out, it asked for her current job but did not ask for any previous work or educational experience. When I clicked the "back" button I noticed it said something about that, but normally go forward it asked for nothing. Is this some type of error with the page? Should we fill a new one out? We were just concerned because we'd seen some other people mention education and such (which she has) and we don't want this to mess anything up.

I think it's a bug on the website.. or depending on what browser you used maybe. I filled out my DS-160 using Google Chrome and I noticed that too. Previous work experience and education is not on the "side bar" (or whatever you call it - the left side of the website listing all the pages/sections). What I did is when I clicked the "back" button, I filled out that section then "saved".. Make sure it is there when you "Review". My "previous work experience and education" disappeared several times when I edited some other sections, so I had to fill out that part again.

So should we fill out another one?

yeah its some "glitch" that some questions don't populate immediately. i realized this when i would move to the next part and then red marks would show on questions left unanswered that wasn't there before.

no, you do not need to fill a new one up. just need to retrieve your DS160 using the confirmation number you have and go ahead and edit your answers.

So this has nothing to do with the interview scheduling right? It's just a online application that they retrieve when you she gives them the bar code on the interview date correct? So after we get the new number, my fiancee can just bring the new confirmation page and barcode to her interview in January and not bring the old one? Just want to make sure this is correct.
