Finally received VISA!!!!!

My fiance's interview was Nov 4th, APPROVED......They said they would deliver his visa in 12 days and he finally received his visa today, ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be getting the flight information the first of the week and he will be here in about 20 days in sha Allah.

We began this journey Feb 12, 2013 and 10 months later it is finished, SubhanAllah........I cannot stop crying I am so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To everyone, thank you for the support!!! Hang in there, it will happen for you too!!!!!!!

7/2/2014: Text and email notifications

7/2/2014: Checks cashed

7/8/2014: Hard copy NOAs received

7/25/2014: Biometrics appointment

7/25/2014: RFE for foreign birth certificate

7/26/2014: RFE responded to

7/30/2014: RFE response received

8/14/2014: Status changed to "Testing and Interview"

8/29/2014: EAD and AP card production ordered

9/10/2014: EAD and AP card received

9/27/2014: Interview letter received

9/29/2014: SS card applied for

10/4/2014: SS card received

10/28/2014: Interview - approved pending final background check; online status updated that night

11/1/2014: Welcome letter

11/4/2014: GC in hand

02/01/2013 Received e-mail and text notification of acceptance 11/26/2013 Applied for SS#
02/04/2013 Received hard copy NOA1 (case not found in on-line system) 12/02/2013 ELIS site still states "accepted"
03/12/2013 Transferred to the local office 12/27/2013 received green card
04/10/2013 Case still not found in on-line system
04/15/2013 INFO-PASS appointment

05/01/2013 NOA2 sent petition approved

05/09/2013 Case received by NVC

05/23/2013 Received case #'s from NVC

05/23/2013 DS-3032 sent from husband's e-mail

06/03/2013 First day I can not access payment portal

06/04/2013 AOS Fee invoiced and payment made

06/05/2013 DS-3032 acceptance e-mail

06/05/2013 AOS Fee shows "PAID"

06/06/2013 AOS package express mailed

06/07/2013 IV bill invoiced and payment made (still waiting on documents from Hubby)

06/25/2013 IV reviewed - Checklist (2 errors, Birth document & date on DS-230)

06/26/2013 Requested supervisor review by e-mail & verbal request for birth document (fingers crossed)

06/27/2013 AOS accepted

06/28/2013 Checklist response sent for corrected DS-230 (I had my husband sign extra's just in-case)

08/02/2013 NVC requested a supervisor review on the checklist item over 20 business day window

Congrats!! Did your husband receive a letter first telling him the visa will be sent? I am asking because I sent an email to the Cario Embassy to check status on our case and they responded with they are mailing us a letter??? What does that mean?

They actually gave him the letter right after his interview saying "Congradulations, your visa has been approved". They also gave him the instructions on how he would recive his visa by UPS. (He had to leave his passport at the Embassy after his interview).

My husband had his interview in March at the interview they took his passport, he paid the DHL fee and got fingerprinted the CO told him everything looks good. Hs file has been in AP since. I sent an email to the Cario embassy yesterday and they responded sayhing they will be mailing us a letter with the status????? What could that mean Iam so nervous!!!!

02/23/2015 - All documents sent

02/24/2015 - NVC received documents

02/28/2015 - NVC Scan Date 02/24/2015

03/04/2015 - Received email from NVC to pay IV fee

03/04/2015 - IV fee paid 03/17/2015 - IV shows "PAID"

03/17/2015 - DS-260 filled and 30 business days for review

03/31/2015 Stupid Checklist :( " need to mark that I'm LPR")

03/31/2015 Sent the corrected I-864EZ
