Yup it's more worse when you're a Citizen.. It's faster when your PR... I waited for my citizenship before I filed I guess that was a mistake..

Same here michey8988 I did that mistake I applied when I was PR and now I am citizen but still waiting nothing changed

Right now, it may be faster for an LPR, but that was not the case for all those years befor the last 6 months.

If you go back 6 months, it would have been the reverse.

At some point, it will swing back to favor citizens.

Do beat yourself up for your choices. Do look at this brief period. You made your decisions when it was faster for citizens.

I agree. Some F2A 2013 filers were just lucky (including those who filed AOS when the priority dates were "current").

Are you sure you fill up all the necerasy forms? And for us it was so long wait but we didn't fill up all the neseary forms and we call them, after that call they send to us a mail wich indicated us to fill the missing form. At that point we were at requeste for more evidence. So I think hoy must to call them and ask why your case is pending for so long time. It's better do somthing instead of nothing. In my opinion. Oh yes, there's just a horrendous backlog. Calling and asking about our cases has not been productive at all. Senators/Congressmen/Ombudsmen have all yielded nothing.
