New Russian Air-to-Air Missiles Will Field Almost Perfect Accuracy

Russias new T-50-variant Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (PAK FA) may feature the most accurate air-to-air missile system ever devised. The new system specifically targets the ability of skilled fighter pilots to engage in violent maneuvers to break missile locks in older-generation technology, based on a radar system held within the nose of the missile.

The new missile, pegged the K-77M, was described by Russia Today as an absolute killer. It notes that what sets the K-77Ms technology apart from its counterparts is the implementation of a active phased array antenna (APAA) which essentially solves the lock-on problem by addressing the radars field of view problem. Previously, this limitation allowed pilots to swing their jets out of the range of a tailing guided missile when in close proximity, evading the scope of the radars view.

FWIW Russia has not spent the last 5 years trying to ram a healthcare plan that doesn't work down the throats of Russian citizens and didn't shut down it's space program. You knew we were going to fall behind on stuff when we cannot even make a website that works. Rocket science is hard.

They also do not waste resources closing statues.

Y'know, you need to take what is said in Russia with a grain of salt...a tablespoon of salt maybe. Let's not forget that the USSR constitutionally had freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the Republics were "autonomous", the citizens had nearly every "right" that we have in the USA. The USSR was not "Socialist" it was Communist. Putin does not like Socialism, he is a closet Communist and you are not going to get the KGB out of his blood.

All that said, Soviet citizens "lost" their rights when court decisions determined that the rights of individuals did not trump the rights of the society as a whole. This is the same tactic we see tried here so often. They had freedom of speech unless it interfered with society
