Hello everyone, I just wanted to see how many of us who got this speedy approvals for I-130 IR5 petitions this month of November. As I was reading on different timelines, I saw a lot of approvals for this month, cases filed this year 2013 starting from January to October 2013, specially to those who filed from September and October 2013, and now all got approved and case was shipped to NVC. I'll start with mine.

I-130 petition for my Mother (Philippines).

1. Petition was filed on October 21, 2013 with same priority date.

Approved on November 25, 2013 and case was shipped to NVC. (hard copy I-797 notice of action form in hand).

So around a month and a half-two months from approval to case number? That puts me around mid- to late January somewhere... I think that'll work fine. We will have filed the 2013 taxes by then.

Oh I'm not really sure, because many cases move differently, Kerran's case arrived at the NVC the same day as me, and my petition was shipped a week earlier than her, I think so we will probably get the NVC number around at the same time. :)

Hi,

I am a married son of US citizen, my I130 approved on July 2009, Since then, I am waiting for Visa from NVC, it says that my priority date is Sep 2005, and currently they are processing April 2003, is there a way to accelerate it? my father is sick and I am worried that I wont be able to see him, noting that I tried for visit visa, but it was denied.

Best Regards,

Hani Ahmad
