waiting NVC to schedule my interview :(

Hi everyone,

i am a new member here and i need your help please

i am from Egypt and i have a CR-1 VISA . NVC sent us an email that they recieved all the ducements they need and they will resend an email to us when they schedule an interview date ,all that was on 14 / november/2013

how long should i wait the interview notification from the NVC . I AM SO WORRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, guys

I don't know if this will be helpful or not because I'm applying for a K-1 visa. However, we sent in our packet of information at the beginning of August, and we were notified this week by the embassy in Cairo that our appointment is December. It took them about 4 months before we received an appointment.

There is nothing we can help you with, you just wait until it's scheduled. It takes a few months.

We are also in the same situation. NVC emailed us two days ago saying they will contact us once their are slots available at our embassy. I hope they dont take that long and soon INSHA ALLAH it is sorted out.

We are in the same position!! We are IR1/CR1 visa and our case was complete at NVC on September 30th! Still no letter or anything but hoping that our interview will be January or February at the latest!!

Does it usually take this long for all embassies or is this just a "feature" of the Egyptian and Pakistani embassies?

I know that for Egypt, it is just because of the embassy opening and closing all the time from the protests. So I am not sure about the wait time for India, but I don't think it is as long as for Egypt.
